I called my sisters,and my children, and told them they were welcome to come to our house for dinner today,but they did not,only my younger son and girlfriend came,but...this time,i chose to let that feeling of resentment go,as i wanted to enjoy my thanksgiving,and knowing that my other family members were together with there extended families was ok,and they were not alone and ,..in that i was happy!
I started instead to count my many blessings of this year,and they are many...
I have stoped trying to control other people just to make me feel good,,, now,i feel good knowing there happy in what ever decision they make.....
