Hi Jackie, I tried Lexapro 10mg and it didn't work for me, I am a prozac girl myself, but there was a woman in the panic group I attend fully recover from panic disorder by taking lexapro 10mg. I was really amazed. I hope it works for you.

I take Lexapro (20mg) every day. I am not depressed, never have been. I have some major panic and anxiety. When I first started the Lexapro the only thing I noticed was it made me drowsy so I took it at night before going to sleep.
Once I got use to it I did not have any symptoms that were bad, nothing i really noticed.
It has worked very good for me, and I am greatful that I have it. You MUST take it daily, it is your medication!! You may not feel the effects of it for about 7 days but DO NOT GIVE UP even if you feel worse, stay on it and you will be glad you did.
Does anyone take Lexapro? How many mg? My Dr. prescribed me 10mg once a day- never taken meds before- just kinda feeling jittery- I read some on this med and it said it was an anti-depressant! I'm not depressed though- just panic attacks!!
