Tomorrow will be a big milestone for me...one month without smoking. It has not been hard to quit this time, because I was getting to where I couldn't breathe. I am very aware of my improved breathing, now, and I take the opportunity a couple times a day to close my eyes, breathe very deeply, exhale and really enjoy this new freedom.

It's going to be hard to march in this parade this morning, I feel like I live in the north pole with Santa. Were having a blizzard, everything is white and the wind is blowing, there's no way anybody can light a cigarette in this weather. School buses are canceled and of course the grandkids are happy!!! and I'm proud to show my stats....

I'll be marching down Michigan Avenue today! Its going to be cold in Chicago, so I'm glad I won't be outside smoking!!! I'm going to meet up with Brenda tomorrow night, so we'll marching together!
