HI, I guess the difference between those drugs is how you respond to them. Zoloft, Prozac, Lexapro etc. have the same effect on your brain, but since thay are from different makers their chemical components are different. I have a very bad reaction to Zoloft and was afraid to take any rugs for a year. Than I got really really bad and I've tried Zoloft. Did not have any side effects and taking it now. I feel much better, but not completely 100%. I hope this helps. Good luck.

i have been trying to find out the difrence between the ssri type class drugs, the only evidence i see that they differ is there half-life.some people say prozac works great, but zoloft did not is this a placebo effect??. many pdocs say they are all the same and many do not.i am so tired of hearing (you have to find the right med its trial and error) okay but if they all have the same function why would it be trial and error.can anybody point to any evidence on the diffrece it would be greatly appreciated
