Sorry to hear about your mom. I think sometimes it's harder to watch a loved one suffer more that recognizing the suffering in ourselves. Ive never had extra money at Christmas. This year I took the money I would have spent on my suicide sticks and got a lot of extras for everybody for Christmas. I still have money left over and all my bills are caught up and even ahead. (First time ever) I've always said (always) that smoking "is" the cause of depression. (It sure is in me) My acute depression is GONE! My Mom is in the hospital right now. She was a smoker most of her life. Its a smoke free campus and I can smell the smoke going on and off the premises. At first it was tempting to light back up. Moms been there since Dec 13th. Smokers do suffer when its there last days, trust me, I have a front row seat.
