I'm pretty new here but to answer your question...there are probably a ton, like Mike said and the web site is great but I do know for a fact that Kim Basinger suffers from panic disorder.

Delta Burke is a spokesperson for Effexor. You can find her story on the effexor home page. I found a site once that listed many famous people that sufered from anxiety. The list was impressive. I dont think any of them did any public service work though. If I can find it abain I will post a link to it later.

Hello all
to help me understand the implication of hope for a normal life, I would love to have a role model or someone inspiring to give hope. I think famous people tend to do this because they lead lives outside the realms of most people, and sometimes in high pressure situations.
Does anyone know of anyone famous who has shared and opened up their anxiety disorder for others to relate to?
