Nutrition: Lower Depression Risk Linked to Mediterranean Diet

well,  I've not been eating right.  Winter months (though I know others on here have worse winters) tend to make me lazy.  Anything below 50 degrees farenheit and I hibernate.  I just eat what's here until it's gone then make myself make an extra stop at the store.  Not a good diet in the winter. :(

Goofy, what you eat definitely affects your mood. I'll have to take a look and google this article, but it does sound interesting.

Members, what are your experiences with food and your mood?

My doc suggested I follow the Modified Mediterranean Diet for high lipids (cholesterol, etc.).  The above headline appeared in the NY Times.   It may/may not help us.....feedback?  Other success stories with other types of diets.  From what I have found the trick is to follow a balanced diet and - well, if interested you can check it out with googling the article or Modified Mediterranean Diet or just Mediterranean Diet.  I tried to post the link but I don't think the site allows URL's.
