Hello there Diva

. Please dont apologize for not being any help OR the posts . You were a ace at helping me out a few months ago when i was soooo low .

Yeah i know we have all the answers of what to do but when you are feeling down/anxious what you know makes no difference . Your emotions are all over the shot , you put yourself down . Worry just that bit more . I know i do .

As for not doing the housework been there done that got the tee-shirt lol . I used to be obsessed in having the perfect tidy house , and find it so hard to relax with a messy room . (with my brood it dont take long to get messy !) . Kids would drop something and i'd be behind them picking up straight away . I am so much better now , yeah i would love my perfect tidy house but have finally accepted i cant with all of us . It can still stress me out , and i know when my depression is bad when i dont do anything .

Dont beat yourself up this is a tempory glitch , its the famous one day at a time syndrome thing isnt it ? I used to say that all the time to get through the day . Well i still do actually .

Ok, wow I hadn<t realized how much being tired and depressed could make my anxiety worse. I am less rationnal then usual and deal with mood swings. I have trouble dealing with things compared to ususla. Is this normal?

I just got a replu from my boss. It said ok call me next week. And here I am worried that she is angry and dissapointed with me because I am so lae lately. What did I expect, for her to cauddle me.Ach! I hate being this tired and sad and moody makes me anxious. It all mkes me feel nuts!

I keep telling myself this will pass. In fact I know this will pass and the best I can do is be kind and patient with myself but man I can<t wait for it to pass!!!!!

Anyway, sorry for the double rant today. I know it will get better. IT always does :)

The sun willl come out, tomorrow.... LOL!

Hi guys,

Sorry that I have not been on or very helpful to any of you lately. I just thought I would stop in and say hi. Thanks again for the great replies.

I still have not managed to have my thyroid checked. The doctor is just not that easy to get a hold of. I must admit I put it off. I was not up to sitting in a waiting room for like 6 hours. I will try and go this week. Will keep you posted on this. But I highly doubt it is my thyroid since it has been stable for a very very long time. But it is worth checking.

I think Cornish-Dee is right and as much as I hate to admit it I guess I am depressed and burned-out.... I have been ok. I have not had any full blown panic attacks. I do feel more anxious as I feel I am disappointing everyone and that makes me feel anxious. Also, I had to contact my boss again to ask for yet again some more time and I am pretty anxious about her reply. All in all I am hanging tough though , all things considering.

I haven<t been doing anything in the house and it is getting messier then usual and that makes me anxo=ious. But I don<t have the energy to do anything about it. This is no fun at all...I haven<t been going out. Not sure if it is because I am anxious or depressed or both. Maybe I just feel like I don<t deserve it who knows. I do plan to go out with my mom tomorrow night.

Anyway, I have done enough whining and complaing for a day. Hope you are all doing well.

I was wondering with all you knowledge , caring nature you seem to have in bucket loads . Have you ever thought of starting your own OCD forum ? Just a thought .

I too have ventured around to other sites.. I don't experience depression so I was looking more for OCD / Panic Disorder sites and I have to say some of them were very depressing!! Although they had a lot of helpful information the forums themselves were very negative.. and for me and my obsessive thoughts I had to stop reading the posts.. It was just filling my head with more worries.. lol.. yikes!

I have to say that this is by are the BEST cyber environment I've found and you have all been AMAZING!! It feels so positive and helpful here and I'm so glad to have found you all..

I wish though I could find a more positive OCD site.. so if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Hi Diva,

When stress levels go up, self-care goes down.

Be proud of yourself for talking to your boss and asserting your needs. You know your limits and that is rare nowadays.

Get back to basics: the program, thought challenging, never get too hungry, sad or tired, relaxation techniques and get yourself back up to status quo.

Better days are ahead!

I have to agree with you. I need positive positive. I find the more positive things I focus on the better I am. If I focus to much on the negative then I get caught up in that.

Right now, I am more in the anxiety zone and although I know I said this earlier that I'd prefer anxiety then depression.. I don't want anxiety either!!!! It's like I'm anxious to go out to live "normally" so I stay in and then I get depressed because I'm inside. I have one or the other. Sigh...

I felt like the depression site's sessions are helpful but the forums get me a bit sadder then here. So I just do the sessions and when I'm brave enough I read the forums.

Oh my Diva what a truly lovely post and so personal to everyone , thank-you . Loved the colour co-ordination as well , funky like your name lol .

You will get over this , the horrible dark clouds are just blocking that beautiful sunshine . Let us be your ickle rays for now please till they lift . And they will . I think you are all burnt out , youv,e dealt with so much , studied your behind off and now need the time to re-charge .

I am shocked at the amount of time you have to wait to see a doctor , i will never moan again !!!!

Oh i peeped at the depression centre a few weeks ago when i was really low , it looks very good like here . Didnt join as of yet because i hate the anxiety more .
