Never took Lexapro but my grandma did. She didn't seem to have any problems. I started Paxil about a week and a half ago and I feel much better. The first 7 days seemed like it wouldn't work, I felt panicky, swore the Paxil was making it worse, and was convinced it wouldn't help. I stuck it through and it finally kicked in where I feel semi normal again. I'd try it for two weeks and see how you feel. If you get any severe symptoms, I'd call the doctor ASAP.

I took Lexapro for 5 days and it made me feel strange.I had hot flashes,tingling in my body,headaches with pressure on my head and a rash.They took me off of it.They say some people do good on it but i didnt.I started taking Zoloft which has been 6 days but no changes as of yet.I still feel so miserable and cant think right.They do say it takes a while to take effect.Good Luck if you take Lexapro.
