On this day,year 2006, I had my last cigarette. That was six long years ago. You know it, time flies. Nicodemon doesn’t sit atop my shoulder barking smoking orders at me, as he often had, when I failed to reach and have the morning cigarette. I’ve become a statistic, one of millions and millions who have given up smoking and pay in no mind. Except at times like these, reflecting on the reality of achieving the goal. Many of you share the achievements as I, be it one year or ten, and many are bringing up the ranks as I had aspiring to make the dream a reality. And to this end I hope that you remain smoke free so one day you’ll be the one sitting, writing a similar letter to inspire others that follow.
