Quitting smoking is not for wimps, Irish. It takes lots of committment, determination, tears, depression, overcoming junkie thoughts and horrendous cravings for nicotine, making it through difficult situations without running back to our "sick little friend". Think this next quit through. Are you ready? You can do it if , as we say here, your desire to NOT smoke is greater than the junkie tells you that your desire is to smoke. Just do not light that next cigarette and you will be smoke free. Sometimes that is way easier said than done, but you can do it. My best thoughts to you. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 73 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,752 Amount Saved: $365.00 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 3 Mins: 25 Seconds: 21

Irish, Ki took the words right out of my mouth. More than likely whatever made you smoke will come up again and so just pull out those coping skills and give it another go. Irish, don't kick yourself so hard! It isn't unusual for people to slip early in the quit, and some even fall after a long quit. It just shows how difficult it is. The best thing is to set your quit date and begin seriously planning your quit. Think about what caused you to slip and how you would handle the same situation next time it happens. You can do this! Okkeyyyy, I totally feel off yesterday. I went against my better thoughts and bought a pack of cigs. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I'm so upset with me. AND of course, being the true addict that I am...I can't just get rid of the stupid pack. So, to keep things real here and be honest with you all and myself.....I reset my profile and will start ALL OVER AGAIN tomorrow. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR *kick kick kick* irish My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 1 Mins: 59 Seconds: 15
