Hi MD, it is such a senseless way to lose your life and so young. Very sorry to hear of your loss. I heard on the news last week that the tobacco companies are adding more nicotine to cigs thus making it harder to quit and "ultra lights" are no help. The loss of a friend is so tough. know you are in my prayers. Thank you for sharing this Danny. I believe we should be thankful each day for our quits. Never thought I would be where I am now but really glad I am. We could all be like your friend. Today I have lost one of my best friends to lung Cancer. We grew up together in Ventura California, and had a very close nit group of friends that hung together. We did everything together, including smoking cigerettes (among other things). I'm not gona delve too deeply into this, but my friend was just a few months younger than me. I was lucky enough to go spend the last day of his life with him while concious. He closed his eyes after we all left him with his family, and never came back. He is free now, but I ask you to wonder.. would he of lived a few years longer if he could of quit the habit of smoking? I hope he rests well, and I will miss him dearly. Such a talent has just past by us all. He was truely an artist in his own right, and a very special person to many. No comments nessisary, just reflection on your own quit. MD, I�m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear friend. Many of us may die of smoke related illnesses.
