What do you do when your not smoking?

Hi Tina, I draw, paint, knit, sew, read, and when absolutely forced to do so, I break down and clean the house. If youre not what my husband calls an artsy-craftsy person, you could start a garden or become a gourmet cook. Exercise is also a great help when quitting, and its good for you anyway. Try to find something that takes both hands. Several people took up a musical instrument. I believe one member learned to play the harmonica. Another took up biking. I believe you have kids at home, so you could find an activity that involves them, too. Not cravin', never cavin'. Tina, I think this may only be a problem for you in the first days and you become comfortable in your quit. Kiwi is absolutely right. All of us have learned to adapt to whatever our situation is, to be smokefree no matter where we are or what we are doing or who we are with. It may take a little time, but you will get there. Many of us spent a great deal of time doing things like cleaning our cars with Q-tips or painting all the rooms in our houses. My house was so clean! Of course, now I'm very comfortable in my quit, so it's not so clean anymore! ;p How about making your house a smoke-free zone? Then neither you nor anyone else can smoke there.
