OK, I had to jump into this SeptEnders. Not only am I saving a fortune on not buying cigs I don't have to use my inhaler's and prescription meds for my breathing. That cost me $150 per month.
All so I smoked almost 3 packs a day. I am 64 and have been
around smoke all my life. With the secound hand thing. Stop while you are young. It has not been worth it.

Hey Moqueen. 20 days for me, and today is a tough one. Waiting on a phone call, that may be bad news,(or ok news) but I am extremely anxious.

Gonnadoit, glad to see you are still with us. Did you read the Day late and Dollar short book? I loved it!
Duckie067, hang in there. I am rooting for you. At least you can console yourself that it's way better for surgical procedures when you are a non-smoker. You are doing the right thing, even in the midst of all your troubles and well, you know like me that smoking won't make the problems go away. Good Luck and keep on posting. HUGS!

Ter724, hang in there. How did the phone call end up going? Hope you are doing okay.
Carpenter, Glad you are feeling better. Lucky you, you can still remember things from 25 years ago!

Hello everyone,
As October rolls by we are getting to the 30 days mark. Half of us should already be there. The others are followig soon.
How is everyone doing? Has anyone had those days where you don't even think of smoking, yet? I did and it was wonderful. On the other hand, did you have any days where you just grind your teeth, hoping that it will end soon...preferably before you kill someone? Yup, I know those ones too!
Please share your where you are now with your quit or just drop by to say Hi and show your meters.

Hi SeptEnders buddies!
37 days here! I'm feeling better now. Actually, one week ago I felt like I was on the road to failure and was very depressed.
By now I'm remembering all the time when I was just 15 years old and not a smoker yet. 25 years ago. I'm feeling okay with this.
:)

Hey Mo! Thanks for the roll call....I'm on day 30 - something and feeling pretty fine (but I think that may be the Yoga and the Chinese food) I had a short visit to the other side and it was awesome...Stepped down in patch strength today.....so holding my breath ready to run for bed if needed!
