Flowerpot, I know what you are going through. I would do almost anything for one little puff. I went to the Dr. office and there was someone standing there smoking away. It smelt soooo good. Just think of the pacifier. If I can do it, so can you!!!! Thanks Butterfly swimmer, I know i am not the only one to have a breakdown of sorts but it does help to hear other peoples stories. You know, its weird, today i have complete and total confidence in my quit. I feel like my own super hero! I haven't really had many cravings last night or today. I have found that i have been thinking about rather i am thinking about cigarettes, If that makes any sense. tomorrow, it may be a whole diffrent feeling, but today is good!

thanks Cyberduke You are right, I will use this and grow form it! You know, it wasn't even the stress relief i thought it would be. And on the possitive side i guess 3 drags are better than a whole cig. Right?

Flowerpot, There's a line in one of my favorite songs that goes, "there's no such thing as a failure who keeps trying." And how true that is! You're NOT a failure... you're not a loser... unless you give up! I'd like to tell you a story about someone who just couldn't seem to get the quit right... This person quit in July of last year, lost her job on day 34 of the quit, and smoked a cigarette. She felt SO bad about it, but kept going. 34 days later, she was at a concert and smoked 2 puffs of a cigarette. She felt really, really bad about it, felt like giving up, felt like a failure, but kept going. 64 days after that, she went to a bar and smoked 7 cigarettes. Boy, everyone at this site about gave up on her. She felt so hopeless! She felt like she would NEVER be able to quit successfully. Well, as I'm sure you have figured out, that girl was me. After that last slip, I reset my meter and am sitting here today, after almost 300 days completely smoke free with not even one puff, a successful quitter. And here you can be too. Just have faith in yourself. You can quit if you want it badly enough. Just don't ever give up on giving up! The quit is yours for the taking! It's right at your grasp! But like Henry Ford said, "whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." Don't ever give up on yourself! The quit is soooooo worth it! Crave the Quit! N.O.P.E :p Cyberduke is right
You say your stupid, only if you continue. If you learn from this mistake/setback and go forward with your quit then you are truely a smart person.
Get right back on it and know that smoking didnt make the situation any better, in fact it made it worse. Hugs, stay strong dont let the addict in you win - take control and be strong. Fight the good fight. PrincessC :) x
