GOOD MORNING!!! I've made it to day 3!! I actually am very proud of myself in not giving in to the habit...I'm finding today pretty good, this morning I didn't crave a smoke, I haven't even chewed one piece of the Thrive Gum yet!! Thank you Rusty! Thank you everybody! I have been following your lead each day! I'm on day 2 and have been feeling like a chicken zipping around choatically trying to focus on anything but smoking. I still think about those nasty cigarettes but they can't keep up with me! Hehehe Delaying and distracting myself seems to be working! Thank you SO SO SO much for this post. I am on day 2 and although it is a bit more difficult than yesterday I know I will make it through. Right now I can feel all the muscles in my back are tight, I'm sure it's just the withdrawl and nothing a few deep breaths won't cure. In the 5 times I've tried to quit, this is the first time I am determined...the delay is working for me a lot...I saw a post that helped that one person would say "if it's really that bad i'll have a smoke tomorrow" and tomorrow never came. i am finding that is working for me. I am not finding the cravings really bad, just a bit worse than yesterday, but breathing better today is all the reward I need. I have a doctor's appointment today in which she is giving me some sort of lung test. I can't wait to tell her I've quit and I'm on day 2. Thank you to EVERYONE ON HERE!!!! YOU GUYS ARE MY LIFELINE!!!
