Yippee - Jan is here! I'm redefining me time. You know, the funny thing is that my hubby had been on about a t.v. for the bedroom for years. I never really thought it was that important to spend money on a t.v. for the bedroom. When he turned 40, I told him that he could have his t.v. because it was a special birthday and he could have whatever he wanted....but he chose WORKBOOTS!! Well, this past year he turned 41 and he decided he wanted the T.V. for his 41st birthday....I said "now way...that was 40 you get a 25 dollar gift certificate or something like that for 41" but eventually I caved and bought him the t.v.
Now I go for as long as the nite lasts...but when I've gone far enough, I crawl under the blankets with LOTS of pillows, green tea, peanut butter (I know that's not on the list of tools but it makes me happy) and I ENJOY THAT T.V.!! So....I guess it was MY birthday present.

I'm doing OK Windy. Hope you are too. Tonight I have an evening to myself(rest of the family is playing baseball). I just love ME time!!! I had supper, made tomorrow's lunches and I didn't think about smoking! That's a first. Usually my reward for making lunches, chopping all the veggies etc., was a cigarette. So making lunches for the next day was one of my BIG hurdles to get over(as silly as it sounds). Now I plan to watch some tv and I'm hoping there's no reruns! Here's to one week of not smoking.
