hi arwensmom: You should definately leave what you are doing and take time for yourself, i never had it that bad from the getgo you have to be in control of yourself and you sound like you have totally lost the control, i would strongly suggest you seek medical help rather quickly before more damage gets done, please for your own sake as well My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 361 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,232 Amount Saved: $3014.35 Life Gained: Days: 48 Hrs: 20 Mins: 7 Seconds: 54

Arwensmom, I apologize if what I'm about to say sounds harsh but...What hard choice would you be making exactly? To seek help from your doctor? Or return to smoking? You won't find too many to say you should return to smoking... but guess what? I will. I will be the one to say that if that's what you want in your heart, you are free to return to smoking. Before you consider that route though...be educated about it... try to envision yourself returning to that addiction and how you would feel. After all, you have the worst behind you. Your other choice?... Seek help from your doctor. I don't believe your trembles should last this long and have you to a point of not being able to function for two weeks. Nicotine was out of your system during the first week. If you truly want this quit, go for it with every ounce of your being. Get this checked out with your doctor and get back to the job you love and to the new smoke-free life you've started for yourself. Arwens, you've always had the choice to smoke or not... each one of us here on this board have that choice. I know that in your situation you may have felt forced into quitting... but remember, the choice is ultimately yours. You can really have this quit if this is what you want bad enough. Arwen, Check with your doctor. Your smoking may have been masking something. Your doctor can rule out anything medical for you and perhaps help you. Keep Strong and know we are here for you. Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
