[size=1]Oh, my![/size] [size=4][b]WooooooHoooooo! What a ride! :) [/size][/b] Thank you, Hummy, for honoring me with this thread. Mc, I�m not very good with speeches, so I�ll just ramble a bit. It just amazes me when I think about it � 300 days smoke-free. How on earth did I get here from there? I did it through the help of everyone here; not just those in this thread, but everyone in the support group, moderators included. [size=4]You all have my deepest gratitude.[/size] I�m so glad I�ve been able to give a bit back to some. Sometimes I think that�s the greatest reward I�ve gotten out of this quit. A year ago, if anyone had told me I�d be helping people quit smoking I�d have probably called the men in the white coats. I certainly wouldn�t have had anything good to say to them. The overall change I�ve experienced has been nothing short of amazing, and all for the better. For some reason, a year still seems waaaaaaay out there. Guess that�s because it�s been so far off for so long, I�m just used to thinking of it that way. Hope I don�t blink and miss it, lol. For all of you still early in your quits, don�t despair and don�t worry about how far away certain goals may seem. Just deal with the here-and-now and the future will take care of itself. Speaking of rewards, last weekend it finally rained, and rained enough to wash the pollution from the air. Then this past Saturday morning it did it again. With the pollution went this nagging feeling, too. It�s so wonderful to have proof it was caused by pollution and had nothing to do with not smoking. Hummy, Lady, Zookie, Rusty, Butterfly Swimmer, Ladybugg, 3galeh!, Smoggone, Golferman, Mc, N2k, Duffis, JohnW, Bubba, Mellowmusic, Infinite_D, Melanie, Josie, Casey, and those I�ve shamefully overlooked: You�ve all been a great part of my quit, each contributing much in your own unique ways. I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. OK, I�ve already said that, but I just can�t say it enough.
