Rusty- Thinking of you and identifying with blind rage that can come from an old, old marriage. We surely know all the buttons to push and dealing with the few and far between "mate hate days" is really hard still. I hope when the pain's too great, your husband will change the problem. Your quit has made him feel bad; he is the sinner and you're the saint. He can change that and join you in the quit,but his misery is not your fault. You know that. I lost a 10 month quit in 04 by being stupid and lighting up what I thought was going to be just that one. 3 months later I was still smoking, but quit and found SSC and now I have been quit for a year. But.....you did not have another one, and another one, etc.....You are a strong woman. You are a mentor to us here and we love you. Don't let anyone ruin your quit for you. Awww...Rusty. I've been reading your posts for a year now. I don't know you face to face but I do know how wise and level-headed you've been and what a strong and dedicated quit you have. I feel sure this "episode" hasn't endangered your quit but instead, woke you up to something you haven't anticipated until now. This probably shakes up some people since you're a long time, faithful quitter here at the SSC. I know I stopped dead in my tracks when I started reading!.. but there's no law saying you had to tell us anything at all. I'm confident you learned something from it and we can learn from it too.
